James Boughton

James Boughton, Historian of the IMF, is the author of Silent Revolution: The International Monetary Fund 1979–1989 and other books. He currently is writing a sequel to Silent Revolution that covers the 1990s. Before he began his 28-year career at the IMF, he was Professor of Economics at Indiana University. His PhD is from Duke University.
