Will Kerry

Will Kerry is Senior Economist in the IMF’s Monetary and Capital Markets Department. He writes sections of the Global Financial Stability Report (Chapter 1) and is a member of the Fund’s market surveillance team. His work has recently focused on bank analysis—particularly the euro area—assessing bank capitalization, sovereign-bank linkages, bank deleveraging, and the supply of credit to the real economy. Before joining the Fund, he was an economist at the Bank of England, working on financial stability issues and an author of their Financial Stability Report. He holds an MSc in Finance and Economics from the London School of Economics and an MA in History from Manchester University.
